Male Tummy Tuck Before & After Case 46

This is a 31 year old gentleman from Fort Worth who presented to my Southlake practice with concerns regarding his abdomen. When he was younger, he had been significantly over-weight. Now, through a vigorous program of diet and exercise, he had achieved his goal weight and had excellent endurance and abdominal tone. Despite this, he was unhappy with the appearance of his abdomen, as lax skin showed over the top of pants or shorts.

I felt he was an excellent candidate for an extended abdominoplasty (tummy tuck ) procedure, which would address the skin laxity present on the front and side of his torso. The surgery was uneventful, and he had a quick recovery. He is back at his extensive exercise program and is very happy with the contour change as well as the improved tone of his abdominal wall.
