Face & Brow Lift

This 65 year-old woman wanted a facelift to help her look as young as she felt inside.   She is physically active, teaching water aerobics several times per week and working when she chooses.  She’s also very animated while talking and smiles often, which results in smile lines around the mouth and crow’s feet around the eyes.  Additionally, her neck muscles are separated and bands are visible even when she is not smiling.  We decided to perform a “full” facelift in Dallas to rejuvenate her appearance.  The facelift component helped remove some extra smile lines around the mouth, smooth the jaw line, and addressed the neck bands with an open platysmaplasty.  The brow lift was not over emphasized, but instead opened her eyes a bit and relaxed some of the crow’s feet.   (This was very important in her case, as a facelift alone would have exaggerated the crow’s feet due to the cheek lift component.)
