Blepharoplasty Before & After Case 74

This 56 year old woman came to my office complaining of the appearance of her upper eyelids. She was unhappy that her upper eyelid skin was "hooding" onto her eyelashes, making her constantly appear tired. She did have some anxiety regarding surgery, and wanted to do something simple to address her upper lids.
I recommended an upper eyelid blepharoplasty (eye surgery), which would allow us to remove her excess upper eyelid skin, contour the upper lid fat (which would relieve some of the "weight" in the lids), and create a more defined upper eyelid skin crease. This particular procedure tends to be very well tolerated, with a minimal recovery period. She sailed through surgery and recovery with minimal swelling or bruising. The postoperative photos were taken just over 2 weeks after surgery at which time the scars were barely visible. She was extremely pleased with her natural results and quick recovery.
