Silicone Implants Before & After Case 738
Surgeon: Roger Cason, MD
Before & After
Case Details
This is an interesting case of a 30-year-old female with asymmetry of her breasts who presented to Dr. Cason's Dallas-Ft. Worth area practice desiring breast augmentation and improvement in her symmetry. She wanted to avoid a breast lift and its associated scars.
Given her low breast footprint and asymmetry, Dr. Cason performed a subfascial breast augmentation using 415 cc high profile gummy bear implants. Subfascial breast augmentation places the implant on top of the pectoralis muscle, but under the fascia of the muscle, which provides an added layer of coverage. This allows the implant to sit lower of the chest, and in some cases can obviate the need for an associated lift, as in this case.
