Breast Lift (Mastopexy) Before & After Case 216

This 51 year old woman was no longer happy with her 34DD breast implants that she had since her early 30's. She had developed capsular contracture of the left breast that both made the breast firm and changed the shape compared to the other side. She knew that just removing the implants and capsules would result in very deflated breasts, and also desired a breast lift at the same time. I agreed to perform the surgery with the understanding that we might only perform implant removal and capsulectomy if the operation turned out to be more involved than predicted, or if the blood supply to the nipple was compromised by the capsulectomy. The capsulectomy and implant removal went smoothly, and I was able to perform the breast lift at the same time. Post operative photos are shown 3 months after surgery.
