Tummy Tuck Before & After Case 69

This is a 41 year old mother of three children (2 delivered by C-section) from the Fort Worth area who came to visit me at my Dallas area medical office. Because of her pregnancies, she had lost the intrinsic tone of her stomach wall, and had significant stretching and drooping of her abdomen. She was unhappy with the appearance of her tummy, and wanted to look like she did before her pregnancy.
Regarding her abdomen, she had looseness of the abdominal wall (the ab muscles – medically called a rectus diastasis) from her pregnancy, as well as drooping and stretch marks of the skin. I recommended a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), which would allow me to remove some of her excess skin, release the tethering caused by her c-section scar, reshape her bellybutton, and tighten the internal abdominal wall.
Her surgery and recovery were un-eventful, and she was very happy with the results! She noted a dramatic change in the contour of her waistline and stomach – she was very excited to go shopping for a new wardrobe to show off her "refreshed" figure.
